வெற்றிகரமா 2வது மாதமாக நிறுத்தாமல் ஜிம்முக்கு போய்க்கிட்டு இருக்கேன். இன்னும் எவ்வளவு நாள் தொடர்ந்து போகமுடியுமோ தெரியலை. ஆண்டவன் அருளால இந்த நிலமை இன்னும் ரொம்ப நாளைக்கு நீடிக்கனும்னு வேண்டிக்கிறேன். இந்த தொடர்ச்சியா போறதால சில நல்ல மாற்றங்கள் தெரிய ஆரம்பிச்சிருக்கு. 6-பேக் வைக்கிறது என்னுடைய லட்சியம் இல்லை... பட்டையான வயிறும், பார்க்குறவங்க முகம் சுளிக்காத அளவுக்கு டி-ஷர்ட் போடுற உடம்பு வாகும் தான் என்னுடைய நோக்கம். வருங்காலத்துல நிறைவேறும்னு நம்புறேன்.

போன தடவை "ஜம்முன்னு ஜிம்முக்கு போன கதை"யிலே என்னோட வாழ்க்கையிலே நான் ஜிம்முக்கு போன கடந்த மூன்று காலகட்டத்தை சொல்லியிருந்தேன். அடுத்த பாகம் எப்போ ஆரம்பிக்கும்னு தெரியாம இருந்தேன். காரணம் என்னோட பலவீனம். ஜிம் போறதை விட்டுட்டா என்னால அதை திரும்ப ஆரம்பிக்க முடியாது. ஜிம்முக்கு போறதுக்கு வாய்ப்பு இருந்தாலும் அதை தவிர்க்குறதுக்கு ஏதாவது காரணம் கண்டுபிடிச்சுட்டே இருப்பேன்.

Tamilnadu students are facing their Higher School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams from today.. ie 12th standard or Plus 2 as commonly called as. This is one exam every student dreads, parents and relatives scare the students as the most crucial exam for their life and this is what pressurises the students. In my life those 2 years are something I want to forget... If I get a chance to erase those memories from my mind, I'd readily go for that. But do I want to 'undo' those years? No.. not really.

நான் எனது முந்தைய பதிவில் மனதிலுள்ள ஆதங்கத்தை எல்லாம் கொட்டி எழுதிய அடுத்த நாள் தமிழகத்தின் முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஓ. பன்னீர்செல்வம் திடீரென்று தனக்கு முதுகெலும்பு இருப்பது நினைவுக்கு வந்து ஜெ. சமாதியில் கிளர்ந்தெழுந்தார். நான் கூட "கடவுள் இருக்கிறான் குமாரு" என்று உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட (தினமலர் செய்தியில் எனது இந்த கமெண்ட் இருக்கும்), அடுத்தடுத்த சில தினங்கள் தினமலர், தட்ஸ்தமிழ் மற்றும் யூடியூபின் புதிய தலைமுறை செய்திகள் என என் முழு கவனமும் அதிலேயே இருந்தது. பின்னர் கூவத்தூர் கூத்துக்கள் அரங்கேறி, கடைசியில் மன்னார்குடி மாஃபியாக்களிடமே ஆட்சி போக, எனக்கு இருந்த கொஞ்ச நஞ்ச கடவுள் நம்பிக்கையும் போனது.

கடந்த மாதம் தமிழகமே தன்னெழுச்சியாக தலைமை இல்லாமல் ஜல்லிக்கட்டுக்காக போராடிக்கொண்டிருந்த வேளையில் நான் எனது client side business partner- ஆஸ்திரேலியாவை சேர்ந்தவரிடம் இந்த போராட்டத்தை பற்றி சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். அது 4வது நாள். அவரிடம் மாணவர்கள் அமைதியாக போராடிக்கொண்டிருந்த வேளையில் காவல் துறை மெரீனா கடற்கறையில் மின்விளக்குகளை அணைத்துவிட்டதையும், அதற்கு பதிலாக மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் மொபைல் அலைபேசிகளில் உள்ள டார்ச்சை கொண்டு வெளிச்சமூட்டிய காட்சியை பற்றி சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது எனக்கு மயிர்கூச்செரிந்தது. அவரிடம் 7ம் நாள் முடிவில் காவல்துறை வன்முறையை கொண்டு அந்த போராட்டத்தை ஒடுக்கியதை சொன்னபோது - I feel sorry for those people என்று சொன்னார்.

Culture, heritage and history of any place can be known through the ancient structures and buildings it has inherited. Temples are places of worship of the Hindus and most of these are architectural marvels. Through these places you can learn about the history of the place and also know about its past culture and the traditions that have been passed down the line.  The architecture of such erections varies from place to place. In south India most of such edifices had used the Dravidian style of architecture. Let us explore the area and know about such gems that have been shining since ages.

The trigger point to this post is the one which I read on "Anandha Vikatan" that whole men community should hang their heads in shame for the Bangalore mass molestation incident. I in no way support or justify the behaviour of those anti-social elements and strongly condemn their behaviour. I also don't have a second thought in the idea that they must be punished. But.. putting the whole Indian male under that perverse category is something I object. I don't want to hang my head in shame for the behaviour of some random men. This post is about why I hate anyone who talks feminism and the women are very adept is painting an image that suits their purpose.

Most of us have this habit of using the available public internet (e.g Office WiFi or our host's WiFi) for downloading the movies / softwares / TV shows or Porn stuffs via torrents. I am aware that the torrent downloads can be traced by the ISPs but I was under the impression that it can be narrowed down upto the connection on whose name the Internet connection is obtained. But today I got to know a simple way to track / monitor the torrent downloads done by the individual machines.. that too in a simple manner without the need of any additional software installed.

This year is drawing curtains down and I am looking back this year with fondness. Of the past few years, 2016 was the one that had me sighing with relief. Professionally this year got me into an assignment which I enjoy a lot - a client facing SAP implementation. Despite all the insecurties and bearing the consequences of management's indecisiveness, the end picture was a favourable one for me. So all issues are forgiven. Monetarily this was the best year I ever had and was able to remove the sword hanging over my head, so that I can concentrate on the quality of life / work in the coming years. Personally this year was just for myself so that I was able to do things I wished to do for a longer time. Ofcourse the drama of the year was complete with sentimental emotions like family reunion, my mother's recovery from critical organ failure and the subsequent events... I am moving on to 2017 hoping that it should be atleast as good as 2016. Love & wishes to all of you... Have a wonderful 2017!!!

Oflate the Hindu mythology is going for a makeover in the entertainment scene and it is a welcoming trend. I believe that this trend started with the Amish Tripathy's trilogy "Immortals of Meluha" which was an instant blockbuster in the Indian English Literature and eventually translated into various Indian languages including Tamil. The TV serials followed the trend started by "Mahabharath" that was telecast in Star TV in Hindi and later in all the regional channels. Even though we had other serials like "Devon ki Dev", Star TV's "Mahabharath" was significant in a way that it humanised the characters rather than painting them just Black and White.
