{mosimage}We come to some conclusion based on past experiences and when it didn't go that way we feel disappointed for a moment or so.. But sometimes we feel happy that things didn't go the way we anticipated and this is one such instances.... Hey! Please don't run your imaginations wild or let brain work overtime to figure about what it is all about? I am in a 'jollu' mood and feeling very happy for my heart throb Vidya balan's success in the big bad world of Bollywood. The 'Manichithrathaazhu' or 'Chandramukhi' fever (for we Southies) had caught me again but this time in Hindi as 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' fever.

I was very skeptical about this movie's success (Sorry Priyan...) because whenever I loved the promos of Priyadarshan's movies, they bit the dust and this time I fell in love with the movie's style & promos (of course with Vidya too). But it opened with a thunderous response and again elevating Vidya Balan's stakes in the Mumbai film world. It was not a surprising factor that Hindi audience fell in love with this movie. One cheap bastard Raja Sen posing as film critic gave a bad review in Rediff.Com but the audience triped over to pull him down (700 brickbats in just 2 days). Priyan must be smiling that audience appreciation is all that matters and he has their support.

Vidya must be thanking her stars for choosing right movies. She offended her mentor Pradeep Sarkar by refusing 'Laga Chunari Mein Daag' over Sajid Khan's 'Hey Baby'. To make things worse LCMD opened against 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and sank without trace.

The latest promo of Sharukh Khan's "Om Shanti Om" is a testimonial to Vidya's soaring popularity. She was held as the highlight of the promo that features 31 stars, by appearing in the last but lasting appearance of bear hugging SRK and kissing him. The audience like me kept asking when will Vidya appear onscreen... and thats the success of vidya Balan.  Whomever had caught the promos on air will agree with me.

{mosimage}Vidya, I am really really really.... happy for your success. Initially in my 'Jollu Blog about you when I had seen Parineeta' I wrote that you might not become No. 1 considering that you are very homely. I am happy that my prediction is turning false. You are THE Rock-Star of Bollywood.. and made it without pandering the egos of Chopras and Johars.

Vidya, I love everything about you including the Ayyangar Tamil in which you gave interview in Asianet on last year Onam. If I manage to meet and shake hands with you, I'll never wash that hand again forever.

If things are to believed that you used to wear stylish bindis in college, competing with Mandira Bedi in the 'Shanti serial' being aired at that time, gal you must be of my age... Nice to see that you made it even though you started late.

Will Vidya act glamorous? This will be the first question anybody will ask seeing her for the first time. But she had done every erotic act (Love making scenes in Parineeta, Eklavya, Salaam-E-Ishq & a smooch in Guru), the same people will ask இந்த பீஸ் இப்படியெல்லாம் நடிக்குமா?. Her divine & innocent face makes up for everything. குழந்தை மூஞ்சி, தேவதை உடம்பு.... A sureshot recipe for success.

{mosimage}What the actress took 10 years to achieve, roles to perform, you did in just 2 years. Working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Maniratnam, Raj Kumar Santhoshi, Priyadarshan, Nikhil Advani, Aziz Mirza, Mira Nair in a row..! The gal had got balls of steel to refuse films with Sudhir Mishra, Aditya Chopra (?!#@%*, not once but twice with Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, LCMD) the film makers any actress would give right hand (read sleep around)to work with... that too citing reasons like 'I am not comfortable with the role' rather than falling on good old cliched date problems. Any other actress will be fuming red by going your resume. AttaGal! Therez nothing to stop you in making an icon of Bollywood in future.

I am dying to see 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and I SHOULD make it this week for sure.
